She was predeceased by: her spouse Mills D. Mooney; her son Joseph Mooney; and her siblings, Joanne Steakelum (Robert), Mary Ita Mooney (Thomas), James J. Harnett (Eleanor), Eileen Phelan (John), John J. Harnett (Irene) and Noreen Malanphy (John).

She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Marie Hertzel (late Brian); her daughter-in-law Julia Mooney; her grandchildren, Stephen Hertzel, Christine Hertzel, Katie Hertzel and Mackenzie Mooney; and her great grandchild Lucas Hertzel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
