She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Berggren (Soderberg) and Thorsten Berggren. She is survived by: her husband Chuck; her children, Brian Young (Christina) of Tacoma and Melinda Young-Flynn (Greg) of Seattle; her siblings, Lennart, Judy and Carol; and her family, Auggie and Bogey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
