He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmont Elkins and Ruby Elkins; and his siblings, Willard, Pete, Landville, Larry, Glora Mae and Merle.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Otis Elkins Jr. (Kerri), Clara Sue Heydorn (Steve), Trevor Elkins (Laura), Jesslyn Elkins (Stephanie), Michael Beeman (Christine), Christopher Mauser (Tamara) and Scott Mauser (Jamie); and his sisters, Audrey Meness and Avanell Evans. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
