With sadness, we share the passing of Paul Arthur Mietty in Cleveland, Ohio. Paul, born on June 27, 1962 in Painesville, Ohio, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann Mietty (Vrabel) and Robert Mietty; his grandparents, Esa, Ina Mietty (Pernoja), John A. and Susanna Vrabel (Janos); and his uncle Nicholas Paul Vrabel.
He is survived by: his brothers, David Mietty (Kurtis) and Gary Mietty (Janet); his uncle John Vrabel (Carol); his cousin Jonathon Vrabel; and his godsons, Isaac and Noah Parken.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (242 N State St, Painesville, OH 44077). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus and the Retirement Fund for Religious.
