Rachel Burnett Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Burnett and Nathaniel Burnett; her grandparents, Sadie, John Custard, Mattie and Jerry Burnett; her sisters, Jackie Harris, Cynthia Alexander, Tanya Williams and Natalie Pitts; her grandsons, Ramon and Carlos; and her son Curtis Burnett.
She is survived by: her nephew Terry Hamilton; her children, Cenetta Burnett, Horace Burnett and Rodric Burnett; her siblings, Darlene Burnett-Smith, Sheryl Mason, Noreen Scruggs, Terri Travick (Mike), Terrence Burnett and Nathaniel Morrison; her aunt Elizabeth Burnett-Nash; and her grandchildren, James, Melvin, Rachel, Carleshia, Naja, Trayvon, Jayda, Johanna, Rodric Jr., Shanesa, Chy're, Horace (BJ) and Kamiyah. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of other friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Strawbridge Memorial Chapel (3934 Lee Rd, Cleveland, OH 44128). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
