He is survived by: his children, Mikayla Sasala and John Sasala; his grandson Caleb; his siblings, Pamela Bunnenberg, Kelly Duval (Mark Ratikan), John Sasala and Jeff Sasala; and his stepfather Russell Murdoch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
