He is survived by: his brother James Burden (Laura); his children, Robert A Burdenski (Dana) and Patricia Gutierrez (James); and his grandchildren, Andrew (Kendra Brown), Emma, Elise and Madeleine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
