He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Swartz Sr. and Elizabeth Swartz; his son Michael A. Swartz; and his sibling Alva Masek. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Swartz; his children, Justin M. Swartz and Tina Baker (Phil); his grandchildren, Noelle Baker, Amber Roark and Russell Baker; his great grandchildren, Cayden, Isabelle and Jameson; his sister Dorothy Jacobson; his sister-in-law Deb Will; and his sibling's children, Joe Masek (Laura), DJ Jacobson (Amy), Angela Jacobson, Theresa Reed (Lisa) and Tammy Haas (Dan).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jardine Funeral Home (15822 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
