It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Scott Brooks of Cleveland, Ohio, born in Salem, Ohio, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brooks and Hellen Brooks (Fisher); and his brothers, Jim and Curt. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Ault (Erik) and Ashley Essick (Andrew); his grandchildren, Aubrey, Bailey, Gage, Blakely, Lirah and Maverick; his sister Patricia Shogren; and his granddaughter Tenley Grace.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (510 Jennings Ave, Salem, OH 44460). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Scott's honor to the Salem Alumni Association Class of 1974, 330 East State Street, Salem, OH 44460 or the Salem First Methodist Church, 244 South Broadway Ave. Salem, OH 44460.
