It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma G. (Shelby) Scott (Clinton, Ohio), who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Prater and Nellie Prater; her husband Paul Scott; her son Jeffery; her sisters, Kathryn Robinson (Ercel), Edith Robinson (Corburt) and Faye Toy; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Scott, Ben Scott, Dallas Jarvis, Charles Scott (Joyce) and Venita Prater.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Scott (Leila) of Smithfield, VA, Richie Scott (Kathy) of Brimfield, OH and Lisa Hunter (Mike) of Norton, OH; her grandchildren, Derrick, Kris (Alfredo), Nichole (Daniel), Jeffery (Amanda), Ryan (Katie), Sarah (Jared) and Dylan (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Braylen, Emmett, Calliope, Caden, Sage, Ava, Elias, Hallie, Theodore, Hunter and Levi; her siblings, Wilma Jarvis and Bennie Prater; and her sister-in-law Carlene Scott.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the True Vine Old Regular Baptist Church (7982 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Clinton, OH 44216). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Hillside Memorial Park (1025 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312).
