John R. Schnipke Obituary
The memory of John R. Schnipke of Cloverdale, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Schnipke and Carmelita Schnipke (Averesch); his brother Arnold Schnipke; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Brown, Ray Wagner, Stan Winkle, Fred Heitmeyer and Denny Ellerbrock.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Schnipke of Cloverdale, John Schnipke, Jr. of Cloverdale, Kelly Fuerst (Steve) of Columbus Grove, Michael Schnipke (Sara) of Cloverdale, Heather Walker (Kurt) of Ottoville and Abigail Etgen (Chad) of Ottoville; his grandchildren, Brady Fuerst, Breanne Fuerst, Benjamin Fuerst, Brooklyn Fuerst, Gabriella Etgen, Emerson Schnipke, Raelyn Schnipke, Everly Schnipke, Christian Schnipke, Alayna Walker and Channing Walker; his siblings, Mary Jane Wehri (Leroy) of Cloverdale, Alphonse Schnipke (Amy) of Rimer, Rose Ann Lammers (Duane) of Kalida, Lavern Schnipke (Sherri) of Bluffton, Dennis Schnipke (Brenda) of Ottoville, Vincent Schnipke (Cheryl) of Ft. Jennings, Patricia Geiger (John) of Oakwood and Brenda Brown of Bloomingdale; and his in-laws, Ruth Wagner of Elida, Angela Horstman (Gary) of Kalida, Carl Reindel (JoAnn) of Kalida, Janet Winkle of Kalida, Mary Heitmeyer of Kalida and Donna Ellerbrock of Kalida.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Jackson Twp (16085 OH-634, Fort Jennings, OH 45844). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (Broad St, Kalida, OH 45853).
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
