She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Polhamus and Grace Polhamus (Dennison); her spouse Gene F. Spitnale; and her brother Richard Polhamus. She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Spitnale (Sandra) of Continental, Bradley Spitnale (Rebecca) of Defiance and Doug Spitnale (Patty) of Port St; and her sister-in-law Jean Polhamus of Pleasant Bend. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Continental United Methodist Church (300 N Main St, Continental, OH 45831).

“Doug, Brad and Greg, So sorry for the loss of you mother. Our thoughts are with you through this difficult time. I have a lot of fond memories of visiting the Spitnale farm, times together at church events, and of course Continental Pirate sporting events.
