He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo W. Burgei and Ladonna C. Burgei (Schnipke); his sister Lucille Klima; and his sister-in-law Sharon Burgei. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Lynn Westbeld (Randy) and Steven Ronald Burgei (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kyle J. Westbeld, Karly L. Graves (Dusty), Tyler S. Burgei (Abbey) and Beth D. McCauley (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Audrey L. Graves and Carter J. Graves; his siblings, Betty Pohlman (Edward) of Delphos, Joyce Rode (Michael) of Ft. Jennings, Mary Renner (Gerald) of Cloverdale, Norbert Burgei of Kalida and Roger Burgei (Theresa) of Cloverdale; and his brother-in-law Norbert Klima. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
