She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Troesch and Pauline Troesch (Dillon); her husband Richard "Dick" Brought, Sr.; her daughters, Margaret Gennetta and Linda DeLauter; her grandson Daniel "Danny" Brought, Jr.; and her sister Sandy Nimrichter.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Pridemore, Sarah Sullivan, Richard "Richie" Brought, Jr. and Danny Brought (Debbie); and her siblings, Judy Ringle (Albert), Marie Troesch and Vincent "Butch" Steele. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
