He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Laurendeau and Lois Laurendeau (Gourno); his parents-in-law, Clifford and Emma Jean Murphy; his sister Deb Laurendeau; and his brother-in-law Clifford Murphy.

He is survived by : his wife Sada; his son David Laurendeau, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Nickie Laurendeau; his daughter Amy Laurendeau; his son-in-law Chris Lal; his son Royce Laurendeau; his granddaughters, Bree Martinez, Madeleine Lal and Audrey Lal; his siblings, Steve Laurendeau, Greg Laurendeau, Sally Chumley (Dexter), Kathy Sachs, Cindy Karcher (Don) and Janet Dickman (John); and his brother-in-law Claude Murphy (Newfoundland).
