David touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While David’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Moyer and Donna Moyer; and his great grandchild Judah Moyer. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Moyer; his children, Dale Moyer (Genie), Donna Owens, Dawn Wick (Randal Gwinup) and Darin Moyer; and his sister Patricia Zepernick. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home (218 S Main St, Clyde, OH 43410). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of David, memorial contributions may be made to the Clyde Volunteer Fire Department or the Clyde VFW.
