She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Gurney, Sr.; her daughter Kathleen Hermes; her granddaughter Taylor Norman; and her brother Rollin Schoch. She is survived by: her children, Charles "Charlie" Hermes (Kathleen) of Clyde, Susan Hermes of Fremont and Timothy Hermes of Clyde; her stepchildren, Jake Gurney (Becky) of Michigan, John Gurney (Amy) of Clyde and Heidi Smith (Mark) of Clyde; her brother Jerry Schoch (Jeanne); and her sister-in-law Pat Schoch.
