He was predeceased by : his wife Madeline Rock; his daughter Teri Gregg; his grandchildren, Tiffany Barnhouse and Dave Gregg; his close friend Judy Dayringer; and his siblings, Albert Dayringer, Martha Clouse and Darlene Miller.

He is survived by : his children, Christine Barnhouse (Terry) of Elmore, Pamela Dick (Elwood) of Fremont, Gary Dayringer of Fremont, Deb Elder (Bill) of Fremont and Cindy Hackenburg (Jim) of Clyde; and the mother of his children Cathy Dayringer (Simco). He is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren, along with 26 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
