She was predeceased by: her husband Donald P. Beier; her sisters, Alice Whitting and Phyllis Eads; her son-in-law Jim Hodgkinson; and her friend Paul Ohms.

She is survived by: her children, John Beier of Miami, Florida, Sylvia Hodgkinson of Colorado, Tom Beier of Clyde, Mike Beier (Nancy) of Clyde and Vicki Meade (Ron) of Clyde; and her brother John Schwan of California.
