With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard H. Werner of Clyde, Ohio, born in Sandusky, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Ruth Meinen and Clarence Joseph Werner (Pete); his former wife Carolyn Werner; his sisters, Sarah Stradtman and Joan Perry; and his son-in-law Timothy Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie (Culbertson); his sister Lydia Henshaw; his daughter Marcia Walters; his granddaughters, Julia McGory (Tommy) and Brooke Gates (Cody); his great grandchildren, Thomas, Emily McGory and Colton Gates; his stepchildren, Christopher Risner (Tanya), Jacqie Willey (John) and Patricia Risner; his stepgrandchildren, Trevor, Trent Goatee, Savanna Risner, Tricia Fleming, Amanda Cowdrey, Stephanie Keck and Jade Willey; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Isabelle, Noah Slayton, Cora Fleming, Alexander Hammer and Hazel Cowdrey; and his close friend Jake Richmond.
