He is survived by: his sons, Clinton Bookmyer (Cathy) of Castalia, Anthony Bookmyer of Bellevue, David Bookmyer of Clyde, Robert Bookmyer of Sittee River and William Bookmyer (Patricia) of Powell; and his brothers, Gerald Bookmyer of Richmond, TX, Richard Bookmyer of Carpenteria, CA and Lloyd Bookmyer of Muncie, IN.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (609 Vine St, Clyde, OH 43410). The military honors was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
