Edgar E. Clune Obituary

We announce the death of Edgar E. Clune (Coldwater, Ohio), who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 74. Edgar will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Clune (Chickasaw) and Agnes Clune (Prenger) of Minster; and his brothers, Lavern Clune and Richard Clune. He is survived by: his children, Vikki (Kevin Quinter), James Clune, Maria Stein, Michael (Sarah Clune) and Rebecca (Josh Deville); his grandchildren, Tessa, Gus Link, Derik Quinter, Tori Quinter of San Francisco, CA, Dustin Quinter, Olivia Clune of Greenville, SC, Georgia Clune, Rhett Clune and Cooper Deville; his great grandchildren, Benjamin of Fort Recovery, William of Fort Recovery and Eleanor Link of Fort Recovery; his siblings-in-law, Julianna, Charlie Pax of Cambridge, MD, Janice Piekenbrock, New Bremen, LeRoy Piekenbrock and Kathryn Clune; and his grandson Graham Deville.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the N. J. Hogenkamp Sons, Inc. (61 S Hanover St, Minster, OH 45865). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (35 Maple St., Maria Stein, OH 45826).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Association of Mercer County and Grand Lake Hospice.
