He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bruns (Piekenbrock); his children, Steve (Dorothy Bruns), Tom (Laura Bruns), Jim (Beth Bruns), Judy Bruns of Coldwater and Jill (Doug Timmerman); and his in-laws, Esther, Rich Heckman of Frenchtown, Edna, Alvin Tebbe of St. Anthony, Eva Gehret of Yorkshire, Linda, Larry Pleiman of Yorkshire, Eileen, Art Siefring of Burkettsville, Emily Timmerman of Union City, Erma, Bob Stump of Union City and Janice Piekenbrock of Coldwater. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren.
