He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his son Robert A. Bennett, Jr.; and his parents, William Bennett and Rhoda Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Cindy (Lyn), Sandy (Mike) and Brian (Yvette); and his grandchildren, Rebekkah (Brandon), Elizabeth, Robert III (Megan), Samantha (Stephen), Andrea (Jared), Meghan, Brandon (Heather), David (Makenzie), Alex (Kelly), Michael (Morgan) and Joshua. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
