He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Burton; his parents, Tony Burton and Lorraine Burton; and his siblings, Paul Burton (Rita), Anne Durant (Bob) and Larry Burton (Carol).
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Burton and Laura Vaughn (Steve); his grandchildren, Ashley Chaney (Devin), Zachary Vaughn (Taylor) and Emily Vaughn; his great grandchildren, Samuel Chaney and Mia Vaughn; and his sister Marilyn Rayburn (Alan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
