He was predeceased by: his parents, Altgeld "Augie" Prokes and Lucille Prokes (Osteoski); his brothers, Robert and Hal Prokes; and his close friend Terry Mayberry.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Prokes (Sneigle); his daughter Heather Borkoski (Anthony) of Belmont; his grandchildren, Tristan and Ava Borkoski; his pets, Abby, Roxy, Sheeba and Missy; and his close friend Frannie Schnegg.
