He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sayler and Mary Sayler (Fredrick); and his sisters, Eleanor and Norma "Dede" Sayler. He is survived by: his siblings, Elwin Sayler (Nancy) and Aileen Calabrese (Tony); his children, Gayle Kovach (Joe) and Daniel Sayler (Kelly); his grandchildren, Hallie Mossor (Ryan), Dillon Sayler, Katie Carroll (Nathan) and Kelsie Burgderfer (Kyle); and his wife Sue Sayler (Wentz). He is also survived by 3 great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Collins Church (4290 Hartland Center Rd, Collins, OH 44846).
The family asks in lieu of flowers that you may give a donation to the Collins Church in Galen's name.
