He was predeceased by: his wife Almeta "Mimi" Smith (Russ); his parents, Charles Smith and Elizabeth Smith (Kotasek); his siblings, James, Robert, Carl Smith, Marlene Robertson and Geraldine "Jeri" Mischler; and his granddaughter Jacqueline Boose.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Printy (Patrick) and Karen Boose (Craig); his grandchildren, Joshua Boose (Michael Koury), Jessica Visci (Rick), Tatum Windisch (Drew) of Patrick and Colin Printy; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Spencer, Olivia Spencer, Bennett Spencer, Grayson Windisch and Callan Windisch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Milan, Ohio.
