We announce the death of William Heidinger of Columbia Station, Ohio, born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 91. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Heidinger; and his siblings, Raymond Heidinger, Debbie Skarupa, Mary Mullee and Linda Britton.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Craig Heidinger (Shawn), Jody Hezoucky (Frank), Bob Hershey (Kathy) and Randy Hershey; his siblings, Pete Heidinger, Bob Heidinger, Don Heidinger, Roland Heidinger, Mark Heidinger, Janet Carroll and Gayle Plum; and his grandchildren, Julie Pyle, Ryan Hershey, Adam Hershey, Derek Hezoucky, Brandon Heidinger and Deven Hezoucky.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Bill Heidinger's name to the Columbia Township Firemen's Association.
