Though Dale may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dale touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Smith and Blanche Smith; and his wife Sue Ann Smith (Hum). He is survived by: his brother Elias Reitzel of Portland, Oregon..
