In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Evalyn leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Evalyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Thompson and Doratha Thompson (Dyke); her husband Donald "Barney" Hauserman; and her siblings, Curt Thompson (Nancy) and Betty Taucher (Joe).
She is survived by: her brothers, Bill Thompson (Theresa) of East Palestine and Carl Sanislo (Kay) of North Carolina; and her daughters, Karen S. Carey (John) of Gardnerville, Nevada, Donna L. Mason (Don) of Salem, Ohio and Laurie Trotter of Poland, Ohio.. She is also survived by her loving family, including her 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (49255 Pancake-Clarkson Rd, Rogers, OH 44455).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Evalyn's name to Mt. Zion Church.
