He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Schach and Matthias "Buzz" Schach. He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Janine McMahon (Pete) and Matthias A. Schach; his sister Phyllis Stafford (James); and his close friends, Don "Slim" and Kay Aeschbacher. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
