He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Vaughn and Ruth Cope Vaughn; his wife Susan Lyden Vaughn; and his sister Martha Joan Beatty. He is survived by: his children, Leesa Plaskett Edelstein (David) of Columbiana, Leanne Jacobson (Stephen Matranga) of Monrovia, CA and Daniel G. Vaughn (Irwin Spolter) of Salem; his stepson Mark Lyden of Boardman; his grandchildren, Jesse Plaskett (Andrea), Cody Plaskett (Kasey), Eli Plaskett (Sara), James Edelstein, Jaclyn Edelstein, Mark Jacobson (Mary) and CJ Jacobson (Erik Zeda); and his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Merriman, Matthew Lyden and Jade Lyden. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
