He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cardon and Rosemarie Cardon (Barbieri); and his siblings, Frank Cardon, Florence Berarducci (Albert), Ann Cordova (James), Elsie Falcony (Joseph), Jean Ghioldi (Alphonso) and Mary Jane Farris (James).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy L. Cardon (Botak); his children, William J. Cardon of Canfield and Kathleen Backner of Poland; his grandchildren, Chris Backner (Alexa) of Nashville, TN, Leslie Backner of Poland, OH and Melissa Griffith (David) of Tampa, FL; and his brother Anthony Cardon (Antoinette) of Canfield. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Nicholas Church (764 5th St, Struthers, OH 44471).
