He is survived by : his wife Barbara Thome; his children, Angie Miller (David) of Leipsic, Shelly Gerdeman (Joe) of Columbus Grove, Joshua Perry of Sandusky and Amanda Clement of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Sienna Gerdeman, Erin Miller, Gage Gerdeman, Trinity Perry, Cobain Perry, Phillip Clement and Bridger Niese; his sister Pat Rigel of Lima; and his sister-in-law Sandra Perry of Continental.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Lung Association.
