She was predeceased by : her parents, Arnold H. Borgelt and Teresa Borgelt (Maag); her sister Elaine Ellerbrock; and her grandparents, Albert, Stella Maag (Kaufman) and Clara Borgelt (Meyer).

She is survived by : her husband Jeffrey G. Fortman; her children, Andrea (Mark), Pataskala, Michael Fortman of Findlay and Evan Fortman (Elizabeth) of Cairo; her grandchildren, Alexa Fortman, Ethan Bishop, Oliver Bishop, Leah Fortman, Dean Fortman and Adeline Fortman; her siblings, Jane Borgelt, Gregory Borgelt (Alice), Shirley Siefker (David) and Amy Recker (Jerry); and her brother-in-law Randy Ellerbrock.
