He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Gerdeman and Adelia Gerdeman (Klausing); his daughter Michelle Gerdeman; his son-in-law Jedd Emans; and his brothers, Donald Gerdeman (Cecelia) and Robert Gerdeman.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Gerdeman (Jodi) and Tamela Emans; his stepchildren, Susan Coffman and Chad Coffman; and his sister-in-law Jeannine Gerdeman. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
