He is survived by: his children, Marie Cummerlander, Edward Ruiz and John Ruiz (Kristy); his grandchildren, Loren, Anthony, Angela, Adam, Ellen, Ezra, Sophie, Mason, Roman and Kaden; his great grandchild Hazel Grace Harrison; his siblings, David Ruiz, Erv Ruiz and Sylvia Siemer; and his daughter-in-law Jessica.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that charitable contributions be made to Save The Children, in Alexander's name.
