Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Davis Short North Chapel (34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH 43201). A Mass will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Cathedral (212 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Union Cemetery (3349 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202).
Alfred served as a mentor to several undergraduate and graduate students that have gone on to make important contributions to the field of engineering.
