She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Oppl (Bandhauer) and Josef Oppl; her husband Paul L. Carney; her daughter Kathleen Cook; her sisters, Marianna Phillips (Adolf) and Evelina Barta; and her sister-in-law Ursula Oppl.
She is survived by: her children, Josie Boston (Jeff), Maureen Cronin (Steve) and Paul "PJ" Carney (Catherine); her grandchildren, John Boston (Marva), Paul Boston, Ann Kappes (Josh), Lauren Boston, Maura Grace Cronin, Stephen Paul Cronin and Róisín Kathleen Cronin; her great grandchildren, Sylvia Boston, George Boston, Sebastian Kappes and Rosemary Kappes; her brother Josef "Bepi" Oppl; and her brother-in-law Jupp Barta. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
