It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Valdez (Columbus, Ohio), born in Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Anthony P. Garcia; his stepfather Clinton L. Faggs; and his great-grandparents, Armando and Augustina Jimenez. He is survived by: his mother Augustina Valdez Aboytes-Vega; his brother Tes Gutta; his children, Anthony Valdez, Amiya Valdez, Kiara Fleming, Carter Valdez, Jaidan Valdez and Javion Coffey; his grandparents, Armandina and Jim Valdez; his sisters, Micaela and Crystal Valdez; his nieces, KaLaya and Elana; and his nephew Jose. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.
