He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" H. Winkel and Joann B. Winkel. He is survived by: his husband Ronald "Ron" Schwartz; and his siblings, Jack Winkel (Molly), Mike Winkel (Carol) and Julie Phillips (Winkel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 240 E Kossuth St, Columbus, OH 43206.
