He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Dandappanavar and Kalappa; and his father-in-law Howard Hosford. He is survived by: his parents, Dan Shankar and Prema Shankar; his son Logan Howard; his wife Leighana Hosford Shankar; his son Keegan; his sister Sapna Kirkpatrick (Gavin); his sibling's children, Syon and Isla Kirkpatrick; and his mother-in-law Linda Hosford. He is also survived by many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.
