She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Diewald, Jr.; her parents, Frank Tartal and Bertha Tartal; and her daughters, Kristin and Deborah.
She is survived by: her children, Steven (Jenny), Gary, Richard (Cricket), Robert and Jodi; and her foster son Chuck Carter. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many many great grandchildren, sisters, brother, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
