She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Cornell and Annie Myrtle Cornell (Venters); her siblings, Anita, Malcolm, Mary and Chester; and her daughter-in-law Rev. Gretchen Sterrett.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Sterrett (Karen) of Columbus, Paul Sterrett of Mascoutah, Ill., Rev. William Sterrett (Barbara Beckmann) of Tiverton, R. I., Mark Sterrett (LiAnne Kitchen) of Champaign, Ill. and John Sterrett (Melinda) of New Albany, Ind.; and her sister-in-law Eileen Lazear of Upper Arlington, Ohio.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial gifts to honor Barbara may be made to the faith-related charity of the donor's choice.
