He is survived by: his son Barry Matthew Simmons of Seminary, MS; his brothers, Michael Rouse (Dianne) of Columbus, OH, Alan Simmons (Lena) of Enid, OK and Jeffrey Simmons of Baton Rouge, LA; and his close friend Thomasina Stinson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
