He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pelphrey and Murzie Pelphrey (VanHoose). He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Jennings; his children, Jeffrey S. Pelphrey (Mary), Benny E. Pelphrey (Denise) and Tammy Marie Williams (Dale); his stepchildren, Ronald Helmick (Diana), Lisa Barcus (Steve) and Keith Gray; his siblings, Bill Pelphrey and Maxine Blair; and his close friend Jim Immel. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
