She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Henry and Johnnie Mae Harden (Love); her siblings, Willie Mae "Mable" Cato of Mac, Thompson, John "Johnnie" Harden, Charlene Waiters, Thelma "Fatty" Kent and Roderick "Ricky" Harden; her former husband Carlos Singleton; and her great grandchild Jeff "Baby Jeff" Hairston.
She is survived by: her siblings, Velma Harden, Patricia Harden, Nevester "Nevie" Harden, James Harden (Cathy), Terry Harden (Stephanie) and Cassandra "Sandy" Harden; her daughters, Latoia Burgess (Frank), Tamra Hairston, Dana Harden-Freeman (Curtis) and Carlita Smith (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Devon Bell, Diara Kendrich (Corey), Jeffery Hairston (Kimyhata), India Golden (Derick), JaJuan Hairston Micaela, Brandi Dowe, Deja Harden, Jasmine Hairston, Desiree Harden, Kevin Smith II and Kyla Smith. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
