We bid farewell to Betty Davis (Columbus, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 26, 2025 at the age of 94. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton "Doc" Hines and Sadie Mitchell Hines; her husband John Davis; her son Stephan Williams; and her siblings, Donald, Harry, Jim, William Hines, Blanche Fonney, Alfredia Clay, Mildred Hobbs and Virginia Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Rudy" Harris, William "Duke" Womack (Michele), Joyce Womack and Leonarda "Lee Lee" Richardson (Keith); and her daughter-in-law Marty Black. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church (2121 Joyce Ave, Columbus, OH 43219, USA).
