She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Jenkins and Delilah Jenkins (Smith); her husband Edmond Steelie Samons; her siblings, Nina Ruth, Marie Collins, Willa Dyment, Priscilla Sue Clark and James Jenkins; her granddaughter Melissa Register; and her daughter-in-law Stella Samons.
She is survived by: her brother Douglas Jenkins (Abigail); her children, Notocha Samons, Patricia Poth (Stanley) and Mark Samons; and her grandchildren, Tammy, Christopher, Michael and Joseph. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
